Marbled Necklace

When making the plan for my Print All Over Me collaboration photoshoot, the jewelry was pretty much straightforward. Any daisy, swirly, funky looking jewelry would be welcome. I brainstormed an idea to make a marbled necklace, how was the question, though. My first plan was to buy large unfinished wooden beads and string a whole chunk together, until I came across this vintage necklace. The beads were colored, but faded and not quite what I was looking for. But the frame and the gold! It was perfect otherwise, so it was a great foundation for my experiment. I just disconnected the beads from the chain and attached each one to a wooden skewer. Then I used nail polish in my color scheme for the collaboration in the same fashion that you would marble your nails. Slowly pouring bits of color into a cup of water and swirled around to make a marbled effect. The colors turned out perfect and looks magical with the gold circle chain!
